Born in Oxford, England, 39-year old James Rossiter has become a familiar name amongst the motorsport community across the past three decades. The breadth and depth of his CV has made him one of the most connected and respected figures in the industry.
With 18 years competing at World Championship level motorsport in the most competitive categories right through to roles at the pinnacle of racing in Formula 1 and Formula E, few are better equipped to provide a comprehensive view of the racing driver’s mentality.
Never one to rest on his laurels, however, James has actively pursued opportunities to develop his skills beyond the cockpit throughout his career: most notably holding the role of Sporting Director at leading Formula E contender DS Techeetah alongside his duties as the team’s Reserve Driver.
Having achieved success both on and off track thanks in no small part to his natural ability to capitalise on opportunities, James once again trusted his instincts in October 2022 when deciding to retire from racing and focus full-time on management: accepting a role as Team Principal of Maserati MSG Racing.
