Job Offer:

Location: Maserati MSG Racing HQ in Monaco.
Contract Type: Permanent
Role Requirements: Extensive travel

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promote teamwork and effective communications across the performance engineers
  • Splitting tasks before and after the sessions and optimizing communication and operation between the remote room and the team at the track.
  • Manage Analysis priorities and reporting to be able to deliver complete reports that can be delivered to the race drivers.
  • Collaborate with the Race Engineer and Race Driver to ensure maximum car performance
  • Calibrate vehicle dynamics/performance-related on-car software systems
  • Race cars systems set up and performance optimization based on vehicle dynamics experience.
  • Identify, calculate and monitor key performance indicators
  • Provide detailed and concise technical reports on vehicle performance
  • Suggest car setup options and tyre strategy based on simulation and track data analysis
  • Suggest future vehicle development directions based on data analysis
  • Develop, maintain and run our performance software tools (data analysis and laptime Simulation)
  • Validate simulation and simulator models against track and test data
  • State of the art simulators development and continuous correlation work.
Profile Sought:
  • Master’s degree in motorsport, mechanical, automotive related engineering discipline.
  • Previous performance engineering experience in FE/F1/WEC – minimum of 5 years.
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicle dynamic, tyres, control system.
  • Proficient with data analysis, previous experience of Wintax an advantage.
  • Knowledge of analysis software and Matlab.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good understanding of lap time simulation tools and simulator environments.
  • Fluent in English.
